Medi Horizon Clinic

A year has passed since my hip replacement surgery at Medi Horizon Clinic, so I feel I can say: the entire stay was a solid 5+. I was operated on by Dr. Suwara. The highest level of care, in a pleasant atmosphere, comprehensive explanations and empathy. For the first time in 20 years, I don't feel pain after long walks and I finally have straight legs (the ones I had surgery on were a few cm shorter), so my quality of life has improved tremendously. The prosthesis holds and there are no postoperative complications. Sometimes I still feel the endoprosthesis itself (not pain, but that there is something there, during long walks uphill - it seems that endoprostheses do not like mountains) and when running (a different feeling in the right hip than in the "organic" left one - it is not so that you don't feel anything, but it's not pain per se). After the surgery, I was very out of character, because I don't feel like myself every day I was flying at full speed, and suddenly I needed care and I was dependent on others, so I couldn't find my way at all, but the staff was very patient with me, for which I am very grateful. And the tablet with NetFlix is ​​a great thing - I haven't watched as many movies/series as during my stay at the clinic in my entire adult life - it's amazing. :-) Physiotherapy after surgery quickly gets you back on your feet - Aleksander and Piotr know what they are doing. Mrs. Olga steers this whole ship very well. Nursing care was also great. To all those who are undecided - I highly recommend it! The only minus, but I'm not lowering the rating because I think that communication at the end was simply poor - I sent a follow-up X-ray two months after the procedure and asked if I really needed to come to the clinic, because everything was visible on the X-ray. . I received information from the clinic that yes - I have to come from Gdynia to Warsaw for a check-up 4 months after the procedure. I went, and then the doctor was surprised that I bothered at all, because, to paraphrase: "this meeting could have been via e-mail." I drove the road unnecessarily, and someone behind me ran out of the clinic into the parking lot, insinuating that I had not paid the fee - a very strange action, so learning from my example, I recommend contacting the doctor who performed the procedure directly after the procedure. Apart from that - great!

Unfortunately, the facelift performed at Medi Horizon did not meet my expectations. I still have the "hamsters" that were supposed to disappear. It is better, but far from even a satisfactory effect. Now I will pay much more for a secondary facelift, and it takes time. It only took a little and it could have been very good. Pity. I cannot recommend this place enough.
